About Monish Surendran

Monish Surendran is a lawyer with experience in corporate advisory and insolvency law, advising clients on matters arising under the Companies Act, 2013 and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. His work spans various stages of the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), insolvency resolution of personal guarantors, and the Pre-Packaged Insolvency Resolution Process (PPIRP). He has been involved in drafting and negotiating resolution plans, Reverse CIRP proposals, and project completion proposals aimed at enabling the revival and continuity of viable businesses.

On the transactional side, Monish has worked on Schemes of Arrangement under the Companies Act, 2013, including drafting First and Second Motion petitions for mergers and demergers to facilitate business consolidation and corporate restructuring through court-approved processes.
